The Québec Immigrant Investor Program allows investors and their immediate family to obtain Canadian permanent residency by making a one-time investment of CAD $1.2 million for five years through an approved financial intermediary. The investment of CAD $1.2 million is guaranteed by the Government of Québec, meaning it will be returned in full after five years with no interest.

No active business management is required after investing.

Applicants (and accompanying spouse) are required to have net assets of at least CAD $2,000,000, senior management experience for at least two years in the five years preceding the application, and proficiency in French or English. Applicants must have an intention to reside in the French-speaking province of Quebec.
