Study Pathway to Permanent Residence
Best fit for applicants between 30 and 45 years old with post-secondary education and good English skills.
How does it work?

Having Canadian study and work experiences can give you an edge over other applicants in most immigration programs.

Candidates who want to improve their chances of becoming Canadian permanent residents may consider the education pathway, which allows them to obtain more points in various skill immigration streams.

Upon graduation from a post-secondary program in an eligible Canadian designated learning institution, candidates can apply for a Post Graduate Work Permit to gain valuable local work experience for up to 3 years. With at least 1-year of Canadian high-skilled work experience in the past 3 years and English or French fluency, candidates will be qualified for the Canadian Experience Class program under Express Entry.

In the meantime, eligible spouse and children can apply for an open work permit and study permit, respectively.
